Course Overview

Objective

The objective of a one-week workshop on Mathematical Modeling with MATLAB: Models, Methods and Analysis could be to provide participants with an understanding of mathematical modeling and its applications in real-world problems. The workshop could cover the basics of mathematical modeling, including how to formulate problems mathematically, select appropriate mathematical models, and use MATLAB to analyze and solve the models. Participants may learn various mathematical modeling techniques and numerical methods, including differential equations, optimization, and simulation, and how to implement these methods in MATLAB. The workshop could also cover data visualization techniques to help participants better understand and communicate their results. By the end of the workshop, participants should have gained proficiency in MATLAB and be able to apply mathematical modeling techniques to solve practical problems. They should also have a better understanding of the importance of mathematical modeling in various fields, including engineering, physics, biology, economics, and social sciences.

About the workshop

The training workshop will be in Virtual Mode. There will be one session of two hours per day dealing with hands-on practicals. All the content presented in the training workshop will be shared with all the registered participants. Only the registered participants can attend this workshop and a certificate of participation will be awarded after attending the training workshop successfully.

  1. There will be a two-hour practical session per day on our own platform only, if in any case you missed the session, we will provide you the same recorded session for all to use in the future.
  2. Presented contents (PPT) and script files of each programming in MATLAB will be provided to all on the same day for more understanding and use.
  3. Face to Face Interaction with all the participants.
  4. Open environment to discuss and clear doubts.
  5. In the end, we organize one special session on problem-based.
